Situated in an unrivalled position, in the very centre of Capri's designer shopping district and close to the Piazzetta, the Grand Hotel Quisisana has for over a century been synonymous with all that is greatest in Italian lifestyle and hospitality.

In the mid 19th century a british, George Sidney Clark, built a sanatorium here, on one of the most sheltered and sunny sites on Capri, calling it "Quisisana" or "here one heals". Gradually, as tourism increased, the sanatorium metamorphosed into an hotel. Over the years it saw many changes of ownership, until it was acquired by the Morgano family in 1981.

Now, after much renovation and improvement, this five star luxury hotel has 150 exquisite rooms and suites. Most rooms have windows onto the beautiful swimming pool and immaculate gardens. The gardens and the sun-drenched terraces offer stunning views of the St. Giacomo Charterhouse and the Faraglioni Rocks beyond.

Fine Mediterranean cuisine is to be found in the "Quisi" Restaurant where guests dine beneath sparkling chandeliers and sweeping arches or amongst the columns of the lovely terrace, as they sip wines from the hotel's exemplary wine list. The poolside "La Colombaia" Restaurant serves regional specialities, including traditional pizza. The recently opened "Rendez-Vous", which has an entrance off Via Camerelle, is now one of the most popular venues. The Quisi has ensured that even those addicted to Sushi can enjoy their favorite Japanese delicacies whilst staying here, in the Quisi and Sushi Bar.

Revitalising face and body treatments restore elasticity tone and balance in Quisi Beauty. In the wellness centre guests will find a saltwater hydromassage pool, indoor pool, sauna, Hamman, steam bath and fitness room and in the hotel's gardens there are tennis courts and a large outdoor pool.
