The Mediterraneo is located in the heart of Anacapri, right next to the central Piazza Vittoria and the town's attractive pedestrianized shopping district. When the Schettino family decided to transform their typical island home in guest house, their aim was to provide the most welcoming of properties, a place where holiday makers would experience that special home from home atmosphere, attentive, friendly service and rooms equipped with every modern comfort - and this is exactly what guests now staying at the Mediterraneo can expect to find.

Each spacious, air-conditioned bedroom is furnished in traditional island style, complete with bright, hand-painted majolica floor tiles and decorative stucco work. In room facilities include high speed wireless internet connectivity.

Throughout the long, warm Italian summer, breakfast is served al fresco on the terrace. On cooler mornings, guests can dine in the hotel's breakfast room, where there is also a snack bar. Like the terrace, Mediterraneo's attractive little garden is an idyllic spot where to laze in the sun. Members of the Schettino family are always on hand, happy to provide guests with tourist information and invaluable insider tips.

Location

Within meters of Piazza Vittoria (the heart of Anacapri's tourist and shopping district), the Guest House Mediterraneo is just steps away from the Monte Solaro chair lift, the Villa San Michele Museum, the picturesque shops of the historic center of Anacapri, and the Church of San Michele.
The guest house is situated right at the start of the pathway which, through the vineyard-strewn countryside of Anacapri, leads all the way to the Belvedere della Migliera. The main taxi stand and the bus stop where to catch buses heading to the Grotta Azzurra, the lighthouse (Faro), the Piazzetta of Capri, the beach of Marina Piccola and the port, are both close by.
